Everyone dances

Arrive alone, in a pair, or in a group — our hosts make sure nobody sits out longer than they'd like to. Regulars are always glad to take a turn with a new face.

Tea, properly done

A dedicated interval with self-service tea, coffee and a biscuit or cake, so you can help yourself, catch your breath and socialise before the music starts up again.

Something for everyone

KD Sound provide the music for a varied programme of Ballroom, Latin, Sequence, and the occasional line dance to keep things lively.

"I came on my own the first time, terrified I wouldn't know a soul. By the second dance I had three new partners and a slice of Victoria sponge waiting for me."

Before you come

Good to know

Do I need to bring a partner?

Most people come as couples, though there are usually a few mixed singles happy to take a turn on the floor, so you're welcome to come alone too.

Do I need to know how to dance?

No — there's no tuition available, but regulars will often assist or guide you if you're finding your feet.

What should I wear?

Smart and comfortable — flat or low-heeled shoes with a smooth sole dance best on our floor. Many people like to dress up a little, but it's entirely your choice.

Is there parking nearby?

Yes, there's a free car park directly in front of the hall, plus free street parking on the surrounding roads where available.

Can I just turn up on the day?

Yes — there's no booking system, so simply come along on the day. Admission is £6 on the door.
